Because you never expected anything of me, I never expected anything of myself.  You always say that you there to support me and believe in me but where were when I just needed someone to hold me.  You are supposed to love me but you choose not to.  So I chose the same.  You have the nerve to tell me I am stupid and worthless to my face, all I can say is that I learned from the same dim-witted and insignificant people.  Why didn’t you believe in me when I needed you to?  Why am I left to be independent when I am still a child?  What do you expect of me? , because in all honesty I expect great things for myself.  I know you have seen have witnessed and experienced failure, but so have I.  And I refuse to be a victim of failure any longer.  I know you think that because I am a teenager I do not understand the real world.  But reality is that without dreams there would be no world.  Dreams are magical perspectives.  Sometimes they are great and sometimes they are impossible to reach but if you don’t reach for the sky where do you reach?  Because when you reach for the sky you have big dreams.  But sometimes when you reach for the sky you land on treetops which mean you will achieve many small things that are just as great as that one big dream.  But if you reach for the treetops you will land on the ground and achieve nothing.  So tell me what should I reach for?  What should I dream?  Because you seem to act like you know the real world inside and out.  Should I give up my dreams because you don’t believe in them?  Well now it’s my turn to believe in myself and I believe I will achieve greatness.
